1. Introduction

ScrubHub Gaming Inc. ("RivalRyze", "us", "we", or "our") is a company based in Quebec, Canada. We provide a platform for casual players to participate in competitive gaming events through our website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our Service.

By using our Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our Service.

2. The Service

RivalRyze organizes and hosts various types of gaming competitions, including:

  • Tournaments: Competitive events where players compete against each other.

  • Bounty Missions: Optional quests for specific users.

3. Your Account

To use our Service, you need:

  1. A RivalRyze account

  2. An active account with the game publisher for the games you want to play (e.g., a Steam Account)

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to create an account. If you're under the legal age, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Eligibility

Your eligibility to participate in Competitions depends on factors like:

  • Your current skill level

  • The host requirements of participation

Specific eligibility requirements for each Competition type are available on our website. You agree that you meet these requirements for any Competition you enter.

5. Skill Ranking

We use an algorithm to assess each player's skill level based on their game profile. We may use this to place players in divisions or adjust scores to ensure fair play.

6. Fair Play and Cheating

You agree not to cheat or gain unfair advantages. This includes:

  • Using hacks or other improper means to improve your performance

  • Violating game rules or publisher agreements

  • Misleading our skill-ranking system

  • Any other method of unfairly advantaging yourself or others

If we believe you've cheated, we may disqualify you, withhold prizes, and ban you from the Service.

7. Prizes

Prizes may be awarded in Competitions. These may include:

  • Credits (can be used for future Competition entry fees)

  • Cash payments

  • Merchandise

  • Other in-kind awards

Prizes are subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Terms.

8. Your Content

You may be able to post content on our Service (like profile information or chat messages). You're responsible for this content. We may remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable.

By posting content, you give us permission to use, copy, and display that content in connection with our Service.

9. Intellectual Property

RivalRyze owns all rights to the Service, including any associated intellectual property rights. You agree not to copy, modify, or create derivative works from our Service without our permission.

10. Privacy

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Our liability to you is limited. In no case will we be liable for more than the amount you've paid us in the past 6 months.
