Getting Started with RivalRyze

Welcome to RivalRyze! This guide will walk you through the process of setting up your account, connecting your gaming profiles, and joining our vibrant Discord community. Let's get you ready to compete!

1. Creating Your RivalRyze Account

1. Visit https://app.rivalryze.com/register

2. Click on the "Sign Up" button

3. You can sign up using one of the following methods:

   • Email and Password

   • Discord Account

4. If using email, enter your email address and choose a strong password

5. Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

6. Click "Create Account"

7. Check your email for a verification link and click it to confirm your account

2. Setting Up Your Profile

1. After verifying your email, log in to your new account

2. You'll be prompted to set up your profile. Click "Let's Get Started"

3. Choose a unique username. This will be your identity on RivalRyze

4. Select your primary gaming platforms

5. Choose your favorite games from our supported titles

6. Set your privacy preferences

7. Click "Save Profile"

3. Connecting Your Gaming Accounts

To participate in competitions and track your achievements, you'll need to connect your gaming accounts:

1. From your dashboard, go to "Settings" > "Connections"

2. You'll see options to connect various gaming platforms. Let's start with Steam:

   • Click "Connect" next to Steam

   • You'll be redirected to Steam's login page

   • Log in to your Steam account and authorize RivalRyze

3. Repeat this process for other platforms you use (PSN, Xbox Live, Battle.net, etc.)

4. Once connected, RivalRyze will sync your gaming history and achievements

6. Joining the RivalRyze Discord Community

Our Discord server is the heart of the RivalRyze community. Here's how to join:

1. If you don't have Discord, download it from https://discord.com/

2. Once installed, click this invite link to join the RivalRyze server: https://discord.gg/wp9cYkAtSp

3. You'll be prompted to create a Discord account if you don't have one

4. Once in the server, you'll see a welcome message. Read it for important information

5. Navigate to the #rules channel and read our community guidelines

6. Go to the #role-assignment channel to set up your roles based on your gaming preferences

7. Introduce yourself in the #introductions channel

8. Explore other channels to join conversations, find teammates, and stay updated on RivalRyze news

Remember to link your Discord account to your RivalRyze profile:

1. Go back to your RivalRyze dashboard

2. Navigate to "Settings" > "Connected Accounts"

3. Click "Connect" next to Discord

4. Authorize the connection
